Supreme x Vans join hands to create this year’s essential skate shoes

Supergroup. Peanut butter and jam. Only humans get excited when individual greatness combines into an indestructible force. So you can imagine how excited we were when we heard that longtime partners Supreme and Vans were reconnecting to launch a new shoe collaboration launching tomorrow.

Following the release of last year’s Half Cab and Old Skool, the team has unveiled a new version of the Vans Skate Grosso Mid in red, black and white makeup, made exclusively for Supreme. Made from premium suede, the sneaker features contrast stitching, a Vans label and a locking tongue strap. What’s the best part about them? American pop artist Nate Lowman’s gunshot graphic on the upper. An outstanding, hype collection, if there ever was one.

As any skater knows, getting yourself up the right way while succumbing to the laws of gravity is a tricky skill, and the trusty Vans shoes have been helping, but now you can do it in a more stylish way thanks to supplier Cool Skate Gear, Supreme.

It’s no surprise that Supreme is co-branded with Vans. In the past, it has collaborated with some of the biggest brands in the world (including Vans), including The North Face, Nike, Timberland and Lacoste. Admittedly, each one took a huge hit in terms of sales and social media hype.

The Supreme x Vans Skate Grosso Mid co-branded Nate Lowman artwork will be available worldwide on July 7 at Supremenewyork.com.
